Keesun Kang of Sun Acupuncture was born in Pusan, Korea. She came to America while she was young, and finished her education at Monmouth University, graduating with a Bachelor degree in Nursing. She worked in the intensive care unit in many different major medical centers in different states throughout 20 years. Her acupuncture and Oriental medicine training started after she experienced its amazing power. She began at a private institution and a year later, continued at Minnesota College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, achieving a Masters degree of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She practiced for 4 and a half years in Winter Garden, Florida, treating patients with various medical conditions. Many babies were born after treating infertility patients. She moved to Alpharetta, Georgia, and opened Sun Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic, serving all of North Fulton and anyone else willing to visit.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a medical therapy developed over 2000 years ago in Asia. This process stimulates specific points beneath the skin by the insertion of acupuncture pre-sterilized needles. The FDA approved needles are extremely thin made from silver alloy, typically stainless steel. You may feel little or no discomfort as the needles are inserted as the process is typically painless. At Sun Acupuncture, many conditions may be treated including diabetes, general pain relief and control for arthritis, cervical spondylopathy, knee pain, hand and foot pain, sciatica, shoulder pain, tennis elbow, lower back and neck pain, circulatory problems, and tendonitis. After the first session, immediate, total or partial relief from pain or other symptoms may be experienced. Since every person is unique in their own condition, the numbers of treatments will vary. Acupuncture will not conflict with any of your medications. Acupuncture is used to complement and supplement your physician's treatments not to replace them. You should discuss this issue with your physician and acupuncturist.
